Available Ply Thicknesses 

Woodland Percussion ply snares are currently available in 8-PLY and 10-PLY configurations.

8-PLY recommended for more body and warm tone

10-PLY recommended for more Attack and projection

We do not add reinforcement rings to our snare shells.

Available Finishes 

We offer a plethora of beautiful finishes, ranging from paints, stains, natural oils, and more. Samples of each finish option currently offered are provided below.

Please understand that not all finish options are compatible with every available wood species due to their natural color, grain structure, etc.

For exotic and heavily figured woods we highly recommend our satin natural oil finish.

Interested in a color not shown here? No worries, we’d be happy to come up with a finish from scratch to achieve the exact look you are going for!

Distressed

     All distressed finishes are available in a combination of any paint and stain color currently offered. Please note that the base color can be a paint or stain but the top color can only be a paint. A few examples of our unique distressed finishes are shown below.

 

 Hardware Colors

All standard hardware is available in Chrome, Black Chrome, and Brass unless specified otherwise.

 

    Lugs

All Woodland Percussion snares and drum kits come standard with Tube Lugs. We feel this lug style compliments our snares perfectly due to their low profile design and classy appearance. Two lug layouts are currently offered:

  • Single Row (compatible with all depths)

  • Double Row (6" and deeper)

We require a 50% non-refundable deposit that will be invoiced to you after receipt of your order submission, as well as a shipping quote. Remaining balance is due upon completion. Please note some custom options will be an additional charge.
